Folded Moth, 2017

This is a sculpture that will be mounted on the wall - based on a moth. A fragile animal that is paperthin and able to fly with lightness into the sky, yet becomes heavy and disappears as part of a wall when settling down.

In this beige travertine stone, it becomes like a shield, scaled in relation to the human body.

Blue Moon, 2010 was exhibited at Sculpture Today: New Forces, New Forms; 2011/2012 at the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
